3 Months old!

I can't believe that Kyrah is now 3 months old! She is growing so fast! She is laughing all the time now and has discovered her hands and feet. She loves to suck/chew on her hands all the time. I keep thinking that she is teething but when I feel and look in her mouth there is nothing there yet...so we'll see! :) She also has started grasping things with her hands (like toys etc.) She can almost sit up all by herself! She loves to take naps with daddy and bath time with mommy :) What a beautiful little girl! ;)

Yay! I got a "Kyrah" for Christmas! :) She is sooo cute!

What a "sweetie!"

Kyrah got her ears pierced!

Today was a fun day for Kyrah. For Christmas her mommy and daddy took her to get her ears pierced. She was sooo good! She only cried for about 30 sec. and we gave her the binki and she was just fine. We were so proud of her!

Graduation!!

YAY! Ryan and I (with Kyrah) finally graduated last night! It was an awesome experience!! First we went to a banquet (the food was pretty good), and while we were there Ryan had to go to the side of our table to hold Kyrah because she was being fussy--well, as he is standing there Pres. Ukdorf walks by (to leave the banquet), and he stops and puts his hand on Ryan's shoulder and his other hand on Kyrah's head and says: "Oh, she is so precious! What is her name?" Ryan told him, "Kyrah." Then he said: "Hi, Kyrah...you are so beautiful. Congratulations!" I couldn't believe it when Ry came back and told us...I was flipping out when I saw that they were talking. What a story I will have to tell Kyrah when she gets older :)

So after the banquet we went to the commencement. It was really good as well! Elder Uchtdorf spoke again and President Clark (the BYU-I Pres.) also spoke. After that we all were divided up in to our separate colleges (or majors). I was supposed to be with a different college but they told me I could walk with Ry instead...so I went with him to his college. It was so neat because we graduated in the Hinckley Building on campus. That building has a lot of significance to us because that is where Ryan proposed to me almost 4 years earlier. We got some good pictures of that.

So, for Kyrah I made her a little Graduation cap and gown. It turned out so much cuter than I ever could have imagined! I was even able to walk across the stage with her! So all three of us graduated together. It was so sweet. And she looked absolutley adorable :) I've posted some pictures below. We have both enjoyed our time that we have had together had BYU-Idaho. We have learned a lot and have grown from our experiences. We hope to continue our education... (Ry going on to get his masters/PhD---and me staying home with Kyrah and being a mother and a wife). It was a hard semester but totally worth it. (Having a baby and still going to school in the same semester.) YAY! We are all finished!

Ryan's dad got a picture right after Pres. Uchtdorf turned to leave after talking to Kyrah and Ryan. All you can see is the back of his head...oh well :) Ryan's big smile makes up for it!

Good job honey! I am so proud of you!

Kyrah's Blessing Day!

Ok, so I know that this is late, but since I have had no time to post until now...it will have to do. So...we finally were able to bless Kyrah over the Thanksgiving holiday. (on the 23rd of November) We blessed her in my parents home ward in Maryland, and Ryan's family flew out as well, so it was like a huge family get together!! I have SOOOO many pictures of her but I will only post a few :) I know that we aren't supposed to be proud, but I am a little proud of her little blessing dress I made. It took such a long time...but seeing her in it was totally worth it! She looked beautiful! She's my little angel! :)

Moving on....

I can't believe that I will finally have my Bachelors Degree in two days! I took my last final EVER this afternoon! Don't ask me how I did because I don't know...lol! But I don't care because I am graduating!! YAY! I've got to say that I have learned so much from my professors and my classes have been great, but I am ready to move on...to...being a stay-at-home mommy to my little girl. I will have to work a bit, but I am hoping to find something I can do from home that does not involve talking on the phone. So if anyone knows of any jobs let me know! For me this experience is kind of bittersweet because I am closing one chapter of my life (I have been in this chapter for about 19 years of my life) and opening a new one. (This chapter I have only been in for about 3 months...so I am looking forward to more of mommy-hood!) I am so excited for what is to come! Wish me luck...hopefully I won't trip or anything, while walking across the stage to recieve my diploma. lol! :)

So much has happened! :)

So I know that everyone has mentioned something and has their own opinion about the movie "Twilight." So I thought that I would give my two cents. I loved the movie so much! I went in not having high expectations and came out loving it! I knew that it would not be like the book, because it's a movie and everyone has their own ideas and imaginations about what people should look like or act like etc. So of course it's not going to be what you imagined in your head. But for the budget they had I think they did an excellent job! I have seen it twice already and I am going to see it again next week. I am soooo excited for "New Moon" to come out! I think that everyone should give the producers a break and not expect so much. People have got the books so hyped up that people went into the movie with unrealistic expectations so of course they are going to be disappointed. If you go into a movie with an open mind and not expecting so much, you will love it! :) Anyway, that is what I think about "Twilight!" :)
